Sunday cat blogging

Our cat Sammy, who is apparently quite unique. Our vet tells us that 95% of all orange tabbies are male. But our Sammy is quite female, or would have been had she not been neutered when she was a kitten.

To top it off, she has very little white in her fur, just a small patch under her chin. She's an odd cat, quite round. When she runs, she reminds me of the dancing hippos in Fantasia, all roly-poly running on these tiny little legs. She has a tiny little voice that we can barely hear, more of a whisper. But we love her dearly.
